The RIMOWA original suitcase has long been a trusted companion for discerning travellers. Now the brand has introduced Ink Blue, a new permanent hue inspired by the lasting language of ink.
Used for centuries in writing, drawing and dyeing, ink leaves indelible marks that capture moments in time. RIMOWA’s Ink Blue is a deep midnight shade that offers a perfect blend of contemporaneity and legacy. The colour’s rich, luminous depth lends a captivating metallic sheen to the suitcase’s surface.
To accompany the launch, actress Sydney Lemmon appears in a short film travelling to Shanghai in search of love. There, she is greeted by a series of letters beautifully penned in ink calligraphy that send her on a quest with her trusted RIMOWA by her side.
Highlighting RIMOWA’s style credentials, the Ink Blue colourway also extends into the Groove collection, with a cross-body bag in small and large sizes as well as a zipped pouch all in the same shade, made in Italy from soft, smooth calf leather.
A full suite of seasonal travel accessories has also been imagined taking inspiration from the allure of denim and in the same hue.
