Bahraini creatives have an opportunity to join the International Artist Residency Programme of the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, and develop their artistic projects in an inspiring international setting.
Selected creatives will also have the chance to fully immerse themselves in France’s vibrant cultural scene.
A fully funded three-month residency – covering flights, housing, a monthly allowance and one-on-one artistic guidance – between April 2027 and April 2028 – is on offer. It is open to all artistic fields: architecture, design, visual arts, street arts, cinema, digital arts, dance and performance, literature, gastronomy, crafts, fashion, music, photography, theatre, puppetry and circus arts, art criticism and exhibition curation and more.
The residency is made possible by the support of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), the French Embassy to Bahrain and the Alliance Française Bahrain.

- CV (maximum two pages).
- Portfolio (maximum 12 pages).
- Artistic residency project (two pages).
- Signed statement confirming your works are your own.
- (Optional) Letter of recommendation.
